Monteverde

From its origins as a benchmark for ecotourism, Monteverde has evolved into a model of sustainable and regenerative development that seeks to harmonize human well-being with the health of the natural environment.

Tourism that transform

Monteverde has found a powerful way to combine tourism and social development: through a solidarity-based coffee model that reinvests directly in its community.

From ecotourism to a regenerative future

Since 1972, Monteverde has been synonymous with conservation and nature. With the creation of the Cloud Forest Biological Reserve and the support of Bosque Eterno de los Niños, the area protects more than 29,000 hectares and is now the guardian of one of Costa Rica’s most valuable ecosystems.
